TO WHOM DO YOU ENTRUST YOUR LIFE?

 


Somebody asked this question:

"How sure are you that your religion is the true and correct religion?"

MY REPLY

In order to avoid hurting people's feelings, I will not use the word, ''religion'' in this article.

I, and many millions of fellow believers around the world, base our beliefs on the following:

. Abraham, whose life is recorded in the sacred writings plus secular history worldwide;

. Noah the Ark-Builder - whose ark remains & artifacts are divinely preserved in Mt. Ararat of modern-day Turkey attested to by world-renowned and most reliable archaeologists of our civilization;

. Moses, the Prophet of GOD, whose writings also found in both sacred & secular history. In fact, the original Tablet of Stone on which GOD Almighty etched the TEN COMMANDMENTS via lightning rod, remains to this day, preserved in Ethiopia;

. King David and his son Solomon, whose reigns spanned many years; also attested to by sacred & secular history. The Book of Psalms & Proverbs in the Bible stand as monument of their undeniable wisdom and tight relationship with GOD Almighty;

. Prophets of Israel such as: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel - whose writings are attested to by secular history; and their predictions literally happened;

. Also, the Apostles of the LORD JESUS CHRIST who wrote the New Testament Bible;

Finally, just like what I always say, I am only a small spark of light.

But when joined together with fellow believers in the world, we become a gigantic fireball shining for the glory of the Only True Ever Living GOD: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Here is my own living testimony: I have witnessed with my own eyes, heard with my own ears, felt in my own body some of the supernatural things described in the Holy Bible of Israel, which consists of the following books: Genesis to Malachi and Matthew to Revelation

Thus, I am a solid believer of this Supreme GOD, being described in the Holy Bible.

This GOD, as well as His only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, is firmly connected and associated with the names and figures of history I just mentioned above.

This is the basis of our faith, on which we stand, on which we teach, and to which we fully entrust our very lives.

In 600 years before the birth of Christ, the Prophet Daniel, mentioned above, was summoned by the ruler of the world's super-power nation, the Babylonian Empire. (See Book of Daniel chapter 2)

The ruler king had a troubling dream but would not dare reveal what it was but urgently sought its interpretation.

The king even issued an edict to kill all advisers if they could not first reveal the dream and then secondly, it's interpretation.

Daniel was the the only one, who not only revealed what the exact dream was; but also explained its interpretation aided by the GOD of Heaven and earth.

Daniel said that in this dream, the Sovereign GOD reveals the arrival of different world's super-power empires, one after another.

This succession of powers shall span hundreds and thousands of years apart.

And the last empire or ruler which Daniel mentioned is the one you and I are so much familiar with, today.

Daniel described what shall happen next in our present civilization.

And he revealed the Hand of GOD shall ultimately intervene in human affairs to set up GOD's reign over all the earth, forever.

Brothers and sisters, this affects you and me, wherever we are in the world.

SINNERS' PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

“Dear GOD THE FATHER,

"I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness.

"I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life.

"I want to trust in Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord [owner of my life]; from this day forward. 

"Guide my life and help me to do Your will according to the Holy Scriptures.

"I pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.”
