Let's clarify this question:

"Brother Paul: Why do you always write about the past? Don't you have something to say about the future?"

MY REPLY

Each follower of Christ, yes individually, is appointed by GOD the Father to do a specific purpose in his or her life.

Only you, yourself, can fulfill that purpose, at a specific time and place appointed for you.

Each character in the Holy Bible played specific purpose in his or her lifetime.

You have your own specific role that if you will not perform in this life and in the after-life, that will cause tears in Heaven.

FUTURE EVENTS

I seldom teach on future things, but it doesn't mean I never spoke about the future in my career as a follower of Christ.

In 2011, I went to a prominent building in downtown Toronto, Canada, to attend an important business and career gathering.

Seated in the large auditorium were men and women of various positions wearing their finest suits and outfits representing top-ranking companies from different industries.

Needless to say, almost all countries were represented; but for the purpose of this article I will not name them.

Toward the end of the session, we were given a chance to freely discuss any topics.

At that time, I really didn't want to bring up this topic, but for one reason or another, I opened my mouth and said:

"There will come a time in the near future that this country (???) in Asia will become militarily aggressive and will be a threat to other nations."

You could hear everyone burst into emotional reactions to reject what I had just said; especially those who came from that country.

"No, never, it will not happen, ever," roared by some of them, "because we are a nation of peace-loving citizens."

Others looked at me with disbelief and turned to their seatmates mumbling words I couldn't hear.

AFTER 12 YEARS: IT HAPPENED

I am not claiming to be a prophet of doom or a soothsayer; no, far from it.

I just pointed this out to clarify that I also speak about the future.

APOSTLE PETER SAID

"GOD has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.

"Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though GOD Himself were speaking through you.

"Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that GOD supplies.

"Then everything you do will bring glory to GOD through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to Him forever and ever! Amen."

(1st Epistle of Apostle Peter 4:10-11, Holy Bible, New Living Translation)
